WOMAN THAT TOUCHED HEM OF JESUS GARMENT HAD SUFFERED FOR 12 YEARS. IT SEEMS THERE WAS NO HOPE
FOR HER.
I. SHE WAS DESPERATE. She had tried all these physicians and only grew worse. I think of my situation, about four years
ago, I started having trouble with my eyes. They were very sensitive to light. They would close and wouldn't open. In July
2002, I went to an Opthamologist. There are Optician, Optometrist and then Opthamologist. I thought I was going to the
specialist for eyes. The only thing they could tell me was I was on the border line for glaucoma. He told me he wanted to see
me in a year. I left the doctor in as bad a condition as I went. Like the lady in the Bible, I was desperate. I have been in a
position that I could not drive. Think of not be able to drive.
II. SHE WAS SINCERE. If she could only touch the hem, not his robe, or his hand, or any part of his body but just the hem of
his robe. Like the lady, I was sincere in seeking for God’s help.
III. SHE WAS DETERMINED. She pushed through the crowd of people to get to Jesus. She reached and touched the hem of
his garment. Like the lady I was determined to get relief for my eyes. My condition is call Blepharospasm. There is no
knowledge of what causes it and there is no cure. It is a cousin to Parkensin disease.
IV. THE LADY WAS SUCCESSFUL. She touched the hem of His garment and was made whole. I have been successful. God
has touched my eyes. I am driving again. I want to give God glory. I hope this testimony has been a blessing to someone.
V. THE LADY WAS DEDICATED. She came forward and told Jesus it was she. Her life had changed. She dedicated herself to
Jesus. What He has done for the lady and for me He will do for you. If you have a problem or sickness, God specializes in
what we think is impossible. I thought my eyes would never be well but thank the Lord, they are healed.
